cpu fan running fast no display

I was playing games last night and it was running fine but in morning i put bootable device and turn it on but it struck on bios page i restarted but since then it is not giving display and cpu fan is running max. At power on the hard drive LED flashes a couple of times and I can hear the disk head moving and then the fan speeds up and nothing else occur. O/S power settings do not affect the speed.
